Quick note (from the hospital)… Christa’s in labor, so we’ll soon have a new addition to our family!

We ended up making a trip to the hospital last night (Monday) because Christa was having a lot of pain and we really thought that the baby was coming…

We were wrong. They sent us home a few hours later with some pills to help her sleep, and told us to call back when the pain gets really bad (which Christa already thought it WAS). It’s gonna be scary when she finally does have this baby! It’s due this Sunday, so it has to be close…

I’ve spent the last week getting the house ready, which is still a long way from being finished. My new job starts on Monday, so things are getting busy. More updates to follow…

So, after a week of thought, I finally chose an urn for Sparky. You’d be amazed how many different types of urns there are, and how many of them are extremely ugly (though I suppose some people may think the one I chose is ugly, too). Anyway, it’s done…

After 21 wonderful years, Sparky passed away on the morning of April 13, 2006.

Thankfully he went when we could be with him, and I was petting him to let him know that we were there. I would have hated to have him go when he was alone. We took him to be cremated later that day.

That’s about all I can write at this moment…
